Stolen car crashes into Pa. State Police cruiser

HAMBURG, Pa. (WPVI) -- A head-on collision involving a stolen car and a police cruiser sent a Pennsylvania State Trooper to the hospital in Berks County Saturday afternoon.

Officials say 21-year old-Jaquan Grandy slammed into the patrol car while trying to turn around in a parking lot in the town of Hamburg.

The trooper was taken to the hospital as a precaution.

Grandy, who is from New York State, was taken to jail.

He faces a number of charges, including aggravated assault and attempting to elude an officer.
