5 hurt in head-on crash in Mantua section of Philadelphia

MANTUA (WPVI) -- Five people were taken to area hospitals Wednesday night after a crash in the Mantua section of Philadelphia.

It happened at 9:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Police say two vehicles collided head-on at 34th Street and Mantua Avenue just as snow started to fall.

There was no immediate word on the extent of injuries to those taken to area hospitals.

Investigators were working to determine what led to Wednesday night's crash.
