Man shot execution-style near Olney home

OLNEY (WPVI) -- A 20-year-old man was shot execution-style less than a block away from his home in the Olney section of Philadelphia, police say.

The deadly shooting occurred around 8:30 p.m. Monday on the 6000 block of North 2nd Street.

Authorities say at least nine shots were fired. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigators are reviewing surveillance cameras in the area to help them identify the killer.
