3 armed men break into West Philadelphia home

WEST PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Police are searching for three armed men who broke into a West Philadelphia home.

It happened around 3:30 a.m. Sunday on the 5100 block of Haverford Avenue.

A 47-year-old man told police three man kicked in his apartment door. One of the men was brandishing a gun.

The suspects entered his bedroom and announced a robbery.

He was punched once in the head.

The three men proceeded to take money, three pairs of sneakers, a cell phone, before fleeing the location. The victim was not injured.
