LOGAN (WPVI) -- Philadelphia police are looking for two men and a woman following a violent attack on a man in Logan.

"My husband was watching the basketball game and he heard the gunshot," said Juawana Conyers, who serves as block captain for the neighborhood.

Police were called out to 6th and Somerville Streets in Logan around 11:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Arriving officers found a man in his 20s or 30s lying on the sidewalk. He was bleeding heavily.

"He's suffering from a combination of stab wounds to the back, a gunshot wound to thigh, and he also has puncture marks to his face," said Philadelphia Police Chief Inspector Scott Small.

But the man was conscious and able to speak to officers as they rushed him to the hospital.

"When police found him and picked him up from the sidewalk, he did tell us he was the victim of a robbery," said Small.

The victim told police two men and one woman attacked him and stole his watch, cellphone, and wallet.

Detectives were back out Wednesday morning knocking on doors and looking for surveillance footage from nearby cameras.

Neighbors say the corner is normally quiet.

Conyers said she wants to make sure residents are aware of what happened.

"I'm going to call an immediate block meeting to alert the neighbors in case they haven't heard and be mindful, cautious, and careful," she said.
