Car flips on side in North Philadelphia crash, 2 injured

NORTH PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A car flipped on its side in a crash that injured two people in North Philadelphia.

It happened around 4:30 p.m. Monday at 8th and Diamond streets.

Police say a vehicle smashed into another sending the second car on its side and up on the sidewalk.

A fire truck and ambulance were called to the scene.

Two people, a man and a woman, were taken to local hospitals. There is no word on their conditions.
