Driver hits Fern Rock SEPTA platform, stops on tracks
A vehicle stopped on train tracks following a crash at the Fern Rock SEPTA station in Philadelphia.

FERN ROCK (WPVI) -- A vehicle stopped on train tracks following a crash at the Fern Rock SEPTA station in Philadelphia.

It happened around 4:30 a.m. Sunday.

The driver told police the brakes failed while pulling into the parking lot in the 1100 block of West Nedro Avenue.

The car went up the steps and over the platform.

The vehicle then came to rest on the tracks.

Police are investigating. So far, the driver has not been charged.

No injuries were reported.
