Man dies after fire rips through Rhawnhurst home

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A house fire left a man dead on Monday in the Rhawnhurst section of Philadelphia.

Crews were called to a fire on the 7500 block of Alma Street around 3:56 p.m.

Authorities say a man in his 20s was found unresponsive in the bathroom. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
