Girl, 10, hit by car in Germantown

GERMANTOWN (WPVI) -- A 10-year-old girl was hit by a car on Friday afternoon in the Germantown section of Philadelphia.

The girl was struck around 4 p.m. at Washington Lane and Cherokee Street.

The driver of the car did stop after hitting the girl, police say.

The girl was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Philadelphia police are investigating.
