Two police officers were injured in a crash on Friday morning in Northeast Philadelphia.

NORTHEAST PHILADELPHIA -- Two police officers were injured in a crash on Friday morning in Northeast Philadelphia.



The crash happened around 11:30 a.m. near Allengrove Street and the northbound outer lanes of the Roosevelt Boulevard.



There was no word on the extent of the officers' injuries.



The view from Chopper 6 showed a number of police vehicles and a blue pickup truck stopped at the scene.



An investigation into the crash continues.
