Volunteers needed for Operation Santa in Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Operation Santa is underway in Philadelphia, and the program needs more volunteers to help Christmas wishes come true.

Letters to Santa from families in need will be available for volunteers to read and select at Philadelphia's Main Post office in University City.

The letters will be available to read from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday.

You have until Friday, December 8th to choose a letter.

Gifts need to be dropped off with proper packaging and postage by December 13th to ensure delivery before Christmas.
