Residents evacuated during apartment fire in Parkside section of Philadelphia

PARKSIDE (WPVI) -- Dozens of people had to be evacuated following a fire at an apartment building in the Parkside section of Philadelphia.

It broke out at 11:30 p.m. Sunday at the Parkside apartment building in the 1600 block of North 52nd Street.

Firefighters were able to get the fire under control, containing it to a mechanical room on the fourth floor.

No one was hurt.
