Northern Liberties Verizon store robbed; suspect sought

NORTHERN LIBERTIES (WPVI) -- Philadelphia Police are investigating a robbery inside a Verizon store in the Northern Liberties section.

It happened around 7:30 p.m. Thursday at 3rd and Spring Garden streets.

Police say someone dressed in Muslim Garb entered the store and handed an employee a note.

The suspect then fled with some cell phones.

There were no injuries reported.
