Student killed in fall from window on Temple University campus

NORTH PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A student was killed Tuesday after falling several stories from a building on the campus of Temple University in North Philadelphia.

It happened at 1940 Liacouras Walk.

The student is identified as 19-year-old Richard Dalcourt, of Plainsboro, New Jersey. He was a first-year student in the College of Engineering.

A letter from Temple University President Richard Englert was sent to students, faculty and staff Tuesday afternoon confirming the death, and offering support to the student's family and counseling to those who need it.

Police are continuing their investigation into the incident.
