Neighbors find shooting victim in North Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Neighbors in North Philadelphia heard gunshots early Friday morning and rushed outside to find a shooting victim in the street.

It happened just before 1 a.m. on the 2700 block of North 15th Street.

Officers took the man to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Police say the victim did not have ID on him, but believe he is in his mid-30s.

Investigators are trying to figure out who shot him and why.
