Man shot while sitting in car in North Philadelphia

NORTH PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A man was sitting in his car when he came under fire in North Philadelphia.

It happened in front of the victim's home on the 3100 block of North 23rd Street around 10:45 p.m. Thursday.

Police say the 40-year-old man was shot in the arm and suffered a graze wound to the head.

He is in stable condition.

The search continues for the shooter.
