Man sought in Kensington armed robbery

KENSINGTON (WPVI) -- Philadelphia police are searching for a man wanted in connection with an armed robbery in the city's Kensington section.

The Action Cam was along the 3000 block of Kensington Avenue.

Police said around 4:35 p.m. Monday a man, believed to be armed with a gun, entered a check cashing store and announce a holdup.

After receiving an undetermined amount of cash, police said the man fled on foot.

No shots were fired and no one was injured, police said.
