LOGAN (WPVI) -- Friends and family, along with dozens of fellow officers, gathered Saturday to remember Philadelphia Police Officer John Pawlowski.
A vigil was held at Broad and Olney in the city's Logan section where Officer Pawlowski was shot and killed seven years ago this month.
Police say he died while trying to break up a dispute between the man who ended up killing him and a taxi driver.
The shooter has since been sentenced to life in prison.
