Man injured during attempted robbery in Kensington

KENSINGTON (WPVI) -- A man remains in the hospital after getting shot in the leg early Saturday morning.

The shooting happened along the 1900 block of East Ontario Street in the city's Kensington section just before 2:30 a.m.

The victim was approached by two men who demanded money. An argument ensued and one of the suspects opened fired on the victim, hitting him in the leg.

The man was rushed to Temple Hospital, where he is listed in stable condition.

No arrests have been made.
