2 teens injured after shooting at Wawa parking lot in Port Richmond

Police tell Action News another driver pulled up next to the teen and fired shots into the vehicle. He was struck twice.

2 teens wounded after Wawa parking lot shooting
A 15-year-old male is in critical condition and another is recovering after a shooting at a Wawa parking lot in the Port Richmond section of Philadelphia, police say.

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A 15-year-old male is in critical condition and another is recovering after a shooting at a Wawa parking lot in the Port Richmond section of Philadelphia, police say.

It happened outside the store on the 2500 block of Aramingo Avenue near East Huntingdon Street just before 1:30 a.m. Wednesday.

Police tell Action News a driver pulled up next to the victims' SUV and fired multiple shots into the vehicle.

A 15-year-old male was struck in the arm and torso. He got out of the SUV and went inside the Wawa for help. Police were called and he was taken to the hospital in critical condition.

Someone fired into an SUV striking a 15-year-old male twice outside a Wawa in Philadelphia, police say.

A second 15-year-old male was taken to the hospital by private vehicle. He is listed as stable.

Investigators are still working to figure out what led up to the shooting.

There is no description of the suspect's vehicle at this time.
