PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- On a brutally cold day in South Philadelphia, a truck pulled up Citizens Bank Park, destined for warmer temperatures.
That moving truck was loaded with equipment Friday ahead of Spring Training in Clearwater, Florida.
Thousands of baseballs, 10,000 beverage cups, and hundreds of socks, pants and jerseys were set to be hauled out.
Crews started loading the truck at 8 a.m.
The truck left Citizens Bank Park at about 10:30 a.m., and will arrive in Florida on Sunday.
Pitchers and catchers begin workouts on Thursday in Clearwater.
