WASHINGTON, D.C. -- Chaos descended on the US Capitol Building following a pro-Trump rally in Washington, D.C. on Wednesday afternoon.
Shots were reportedly fired as lawmakers are being evacuated from the U.S. Capitol while pro-Trump demonstrators swarmed the building.
ABC News reported that there was an armed standoff at the House front door.
Police told House members that they might need to duck under chairs. Lawmakers were also told to "be prepared" to relocate to the cloakroom.
