Plans for school to be built on old golf course approved

SCHUYLKILL TWP. -- Schuylkill Twp. supervisors approved a plan to make way for a new elementary school and athletic fields at the site of a former golf course.
In recent months, a group of residents expressed concerns about traffic impact, the fate of a walking trail and other issues.
The new facilities will be built on the site of the Meadowbrook Golf Course.
