Pleasantville, N.J. (WPVI) -- Police are searching for the driver who struck and killed a man in Pleasantville, New Jersey.
The incident happened around 5 a.m. Saturday between Chestnut Avenue and New Road.
Police said the victim was traveling westbound on Black Horse Pike when he was struck by a vehicle.
The vehicle did not stop, leaving the victim severely injured, police said.
The man's body was found lying in the right lane of the roadway with a bicycle nearby. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
His identity is being withheld until the next of kin is notified.
The vehicle in question is possibly a maroon color, and should have damage to the front, lower portion of the bumper.
