Police: Bandits find stealing a safe, too big for getaway car

This is one crime a pair of would-be crooks didn't think through.

The men smashed their way into a Family Dollar store in Florida, and went straight for the safe.

After struggling to move it, the men realized it was too big to fit in their car.

They drove off empty-handed, but left quite a mess for the owner to clean up.
