Pursuit ends with crash involving police vehicle in Chester, Pa.

CHESTER, Pa. (WPVI) -- A car chase and arrest in Chester on Thursday is being linked to a shooting that happened on Wednesday night in Tinicum Township.

Police say they were staking out a blue Subaru at an apartment complex in Prospect Park.

After seeing the officers the driver took off, heading down I-95 south to Highland Avenue.

The car crashed into an Upland police cruiser. That's where officers arrested the passenger.

The driver ran from the scene.

Police are still trying to sort out their exact connection to the drive-by shooting in which the blue car was seen in surveillance video.
