Police cruiser involved in Germantown crash

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A Philadelphia police cruiser was involved in a crash Thursday morning in the Germantown section.

The crash happened just after 9 a.m. at the intersection of Ardleigh Street and Haines Street.

Police say the vehicle was being driven to an assist call in the 1100 block of East Haines Street.

One minor injury was reported.

The view from Chopper 6 showed the police crash with heavy front-end damage.

An investigation into the crash continues.
