6abc Action News debuts 'There Goes That News Van' video game at Musikfest

BETHLEHEM, Pennsylvania (WPVI) -- At this year's Musikfest, visitors can stop by the 6abc Action News booth for an unforgettable experience.

Guests have the chance to check out "There Goes That News Van: The Game."

The game involves a collaboration of various artists, including a production company in Conshohocken who programmed the game, and a local musician who composed a retro version of the 6abc theme song.

"I hope they take away a sense of nostalgia. 6abc has been a main staple in people's homes, especially in my home all throughout my life.We really want people to know that we are there for them," said Associate Marketing Producer for 6abc, Kieran Cunningham.

It's on display at Musikfest 2026 until August 7th.

"Musikfest is America's largest free music festival. Last year, we had 1.45 million people that attended over the ten days of the festival. We have 16 free stages here where we put on more than 550 performances by 425 artists. We have more than 60 food vendors here. So it's not just a music festival, it's also a foodie event," said Chief Operating Officer, Curt Mosel.

6abc has been a partner with Musikfest over various years since 2004.
