PHILADELPHIA, Pennsylvania (WPVI) -- During your next stroll through Spruce Street Harbor Park, you can admire pieces of art to look up to.
It's part of their Summer Exhibition: "Roots of Resilience."
16 artists from across the world, and some from home, designed flags that fly through the air.
It all describes stories about immigration and becoming rooted in a new space.
"It's really open to the viewer's experience. No one is going to read the same things from these flags...but hopefully people can take away maybe more empathy for each other...This is the 250th...this really made sense for this year as part of a larger conversation throughout the city," said Libby Rosa, Arts Programming Coordinator at Delaware River Waterfront Corporation.
The flags are on display until September 7th.
