Officer-involved shooting under investigation in Lehigh Township, Northampton County

LEHIGH TWP., Pa. (WPVI) -- An officer-involved shooting is under investigation in Lehigh Township, Northampton County.

Police say they were called to a home on the 4100 block of Heritage Lane Wednesday afternoon for a domestic incident involving a 49-year-old man and a 71-year-old woman.

Authorities say the man got into a confrontation with officers, so they tased and shot him.

He was taken to the hospital, but officials have not said the extent of his injuries.

No word yet on whether anyone was charged.
