Man shot while on Market-Frankford El train in Center City Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A man was shot and wounded while on the Market-Frankford EL train in Center City Philadelphia.

It happened around 1:30 p.m. Thursday.

SEPTA police found the victim and rushed him to the hospital, where he is in stable condition.

The shooter fled and has not been located.

The motive behind the shooting is not yet known.
