New small-concept IKEA store coming to Promenade at Granite Run in Media, Pa.

MEDIA, Pa. -- IKEA is opening a new store in Delaware County.

This will be a smaller, service-oriented store that is already taking off in other parts of the region.

The Plan and Order Point with Pick-Up store will open at the Promenade at Granite Run on Baltimore Pike in Media in Spring, 2026.

A similar IKEA store already exists in Cherry Hill, New Jersey.

At the Plan and Order Point store, customers can plan their room layout with a specialist.

But instead of taking the goods home that day, they can arrange delivery or pickup at a later date.
