NFL playoff schedule, bracket: AFC, NFC dates, locations

The Houston Texans took down the Los Angeles Chargers, 32-12, in the first game of the 2024 NFL playoffs, winning in the wild-card round for the second straight season. There are five remaining matchups in the first weekend of the postseason. The Detroit Lions are the 1-seed in the NFC, while the Kansas City Chiefs are the 1-seed in the AFC. Both teams have byes to the divisional round and home-field advantage throughout the postseason.

Wild-card weekendfeatures two games on Jan. 11, three on Jan. 12 and one on Jan. 13, a "Monday Night Football" matchup between the Vikings and Los Angeles Rams. The Vikings-Rams game will be played in Arizona; it was moved in the interest of public safety as wildfires continue to ravage Southern California. Games in the divisional round will be on Jan. 18 and 19. The conference title matchups will be on Jan. 26.

Here are the AFC and NFC brackets, including seeding and the full schedule from wild-card weekend until Super Bowl LIX, which will be played Feb. 9 at Caesars Superdome in New Orleans.

Wild-card round: Jan. 11, 12 and 13

Divisional round: Jan. 18 and 19

There will be four divisional-round games -- two on Jan. 18 and two on Jan. 19. Game times will be announced come at a later date. Here's what we know so far:

Conference championships: Jan. 26

The NFC and AFC Championship Games will be played at the home stadiums of the highest-remaining seeds for each conference.

Super Bowl LIX: Feb. 9
