Police still seeking information in death of elderly woman in Bucks County

HILLTOWN TOWNSHIP, Pa. (WPVI) -- Police in Hilltown Township, Bucks County remain baffled about the case of Anne Turner.

"We don't see a lot of homicides in our municipality," says Chief Chris Engelhart.

The 89-year-old woman was found dead in the kitchen of her home on the 2500 block of Rickert Road on July 10, 2025.

She had been shot in the chest and back.

"We're investigating several different aspects, whether it was someone who knew her. Someone who entered without her knowledge or observation," says Engelhart.

Police say a neighbor found Turner around 7:30 p.m.

The two had plans to meet that night.

There is a $20,000 reward for information that leads to an arrest and conviction in the case.

"They certainly can call the Hilltown Township Police at 215-453-6000, or Bucks County detectives at 215-348-6354."
