ShopRite of Yardley debuts new electric vehicle charging station with ribbon cutting ceremony

LOWER MAKEFIELD TWP., Pa. (WPVI) -- A new electric vehicle charging station is now up and running at the ShopRite of Yardley.

A ribbon cutting ceremony was held on Wednesday outside of the grocery store on Big Oak Road in Lower Makefield Township.

The Colalillo family, the owners of the grocery chain, were joined by representatives from Electrify America to celebrate the new addition.

The new station features six hyper-fast chargers, which deliver up to 350 kW. Electrify America's hyper-fast network currently operates in 47 states and Washington, D.C.
