
WILMINGTON, Del. (WPVI) -- Dozens of firefighters battled flames at the Wilmington wastewater treatment plant early Tuesday.
The fire was first reported around 4:30 a.m.
First responders arrived to find an industrial dryer and other equipment on fire.
An explosion was reported at one point, forcing firefighters to evacuate the building.
It took crews about 90 minutes to get the fire under control.
Officials say there was no danger to the public and no air or water contamination from the incident.
No one was hurt.
