Woman shoots man in parking lot of high school during argument in West Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- An argument between a man and a woman led to gunfire inside a school parking lot in West Philadelphia.

It happened next to a playground at Sayre High School at 58th and Locust streets just after 1 a.m. on Tuesday.

Police say a woman shot a 29-year-old man.

He is in stable condition.

Witnesses say the woman drove off, going the wrong way on 58th Street, in a light-colored or silver SUV.

Detectives are waiting to talk to the victim and checking surveillance video, as they try to identify the female shooter.
