Fire damages Pretzel Factory store in West Chester

A fire damaged a Pretzel Factor store in West Chester, Pennsylvania early Saturday morning.
The blaze broke out around 1:40 a.m. on the 100 block of Church Street.
An officer on patrol noticed smoke coming from the basement of the store and called the fire department.
Firefighters arrived and had to battle the flames, along with other obstacles because the water they used turned the street into a sheet of ice.
The fire was brought under control within an hour.
The cause of the blaze is under investigation.
