WEST WILDWOOD, N.J. (WPVI) -- Volunteers are making their rounds to check on pets who were impacted by the Blizzard of 2016 that brought flooding to the Jersey Shore.
The Action Cam was in West Wildwood on Wednesday as the Red Paw Emergency Relief Team went door to door.
Volunteers are providing pet food, supplies, vet care, boarding and taking care of any hotel fees.
"We heard that a lot of families were thinking about giving up their pets after the flooding happened and we just couldn't allow that to happen," said Jen Leary, volunteer.
Red Paw Relief helps people and their pets recover from any type of emergency across the area.
