2 seriously hurt in crash on Rt. 206 in Southampton, N.J.

SOUTHAMPTON, NJ. (WPVI) -- Two people were seriously hurt in a crash involving an SUV and a flatbed tow truck, which was carrying a vehicle.

The accident happened on Route 206, just north of Route 38, near entrance to the Mobile Estates in Southampton, New Jersey.

The driver and passenger of the SUV suffered serious injuries and were transported to Capital Health Regional Medical Center in Trenton.

The driver of the tow truck and the passenger whose car was on the tow truck were not seriously hurt. They were both transported to a local hospital to get checked out.

New Jersey State Police are investigating the accident.
