Celebrating a new school year

PARKSIDE (WPVI) -- "School of the future" in Philadelphia's Parkside section looked more like a carnival grounds Friday.

There were games, face painting, live performances, and even water ice, all to celebrate the new school year.

While the kids had a blast, parents could attend information sessions about their students' classes and transportation.
