Police: Two hospitalized after driver loses control, hits pole

SCHWENKSVILLE, Pa. (WPVI) -- Two people have been hospitalized after a driver lost control of a vehicle and slammed into a pole.

The incident happened around 6:30 p.m. Thursday at Perkiomen Creek and Deer Run Road in Schwenkville, Pa.

Officials cordoned off a long stretch of roadway near the scene due to downed wires.

One of the occupants was rushed to Paoli Hospital and the other to Pottstown Hospital, police said.

Police have yet to determine what caused the driver to lose control of the vehicle.
