Tuesday's commute from the Fern Rock Transportation Center

ARDMORE, Pa. (WPVI) -- Fern Rock Transportation Center has other options for commuters.

This may be one of the better places to go. They have lots of buses, the Broad Street Line and several Regional Rail stops.

There is also plenty of parking for travelers.

The first train that went by, did have empty seats on-board.

However, as the commute gets heavier during the day, trains are expected to be full.

At Fern Rock, if the train is late or full, commuters can make other choices.

Action News spoke to early morning commuters who expressed their concern.

Maria Saho, who lives in Olney, arrived thirty minutes earlier because she works at the airport. She's worried about getting to work.

Doris Boyer of Northeast Philadelphia said, "They're still running. I just don't know what time it's coming. I'm just hoping its gets here early enough for me to get to work on time."

Again, SEPTA urges commuters to be patient.
