Father arrested for shaking infant

DOVER, Del. (WPVI) -- A Delaware father is behind bars after police say he shook his two-month-old baby several times.

Dover police were called to Brendon Smith's house on Tuesday for a child abuse investigation.

When they got there they found Smith's child with severe head injuries.

Police say those Smith caused those injuries over the course of two months.

The infant was airlifted to a hospital for treatment.

Smith is in jail on $305,000 bail.
