Bucks Co. man shot and killed in Trenton, N.J.

TRENTON, N.J. (WPVI) -- An investigation is underway after a Bucks County man was shot and killed in Trenton.

It happened before 12:30 a.m. Tuesday in the 1400 block of Edgewood Avenue.

Officers arrived to find the victim, identified as a 27-year-old man from Morrisville, Pa., lying on the sidewalk.

He had been shot multiple times. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

There was no immediate word what led to the shooting.

The Mercer County Prosecutor's Office is investigating.
