Man found shot to death inside Hamilton Township apartment

HAMILTON TWP., N.J. (WPVI) -- Police are investigating after a man was found fatally shot in Mercer County.

Officers responded just after 7 a.m. Thursday to an apartment at the Hamilton Estates complex located in the 100 block of Estates Boulevard in Hamilton Township, New Jersey.

Upon arrival, police found 53-year-old Michael DiMattia dead inside.

Police say it appears the victim suffered multiple gunshot wounds.

An autopsy is scheduled for Friday.
