The shooting happened near Penn Station, at the intersection of Eighth Avenue and West 35th Street, just before 6:15 a.m.

NEW YORK (WPVI) -- One man was killed and two others wounded in a shooting in Midtown Manhattan Monday morning.



The shooting happened near Penn Station, at the intersection of Eighth Avenue and West 35th Street, just before 6:15 a.m.



A 43-year old man was pronounced dead at the scene, while the two other victims were rushed to Bellevue Hospital in serious condition.



A 45-year old man was shot in the neck and abdomen, and a 46-year old man was shot in the leg.





Police are looking for a silver vehicle in connection with the shooting that fled north on Eighth Avenue with up to three suspects inside.



Police called a Level 2 mobilization searching for a suspect.



Several witnesses said there was an incident, possibly inside a McDonald's, that escalated into the subway and may have led to the shooting.



There was no disruption to subway service.
