Beck Middle School "trash Dash"

CHERRY HILL, N.J. (WPVI) -- A friendly competition taught local students about recycling Tuesday in Cherry Hill.

Sixth graders at Henry Beck Middle School were split into teams for the Trash Dash Challenge.

They had two minutes to sort items into one of three bins: trash, compost or recycling.

The school took part in this lesson in honor of America Recycles Day.
