Salvation Army hosts afternoon tea

ROXBOROUGH (WPVI) -- Some local ladies gathered for afternoon tea in Roxborough.

Party goers were encouraged to break out their fancy hats for the elegant affair held at the Salvation Army's community center.

The women, and a few men, sipped from fine china and dined on scones and sandwiches.

Salvation army volunteers worked for days to decorate the room for the special occasion.
