Flying can be scary for anyone. But a Southwest Airlines employee is being praised for helping ease the fears of a 9-year-old.
Erika Swart tells us she was flying with her daughter Gabby and two other younger siblings last weekend. They were coming from Orlando to Newark.
Gabby has severe anxiety when on planes and also has type 1 diabetes. But one of the flight attendants Garrick, made it his mission to help comfort Gabby.
He sat with her for 30 minutes when the flight experienced turbulence, and brought her juice when her blood sugar levels started dropping.
Erika says it was such a big help, she took to Facebook to thank him.
Southwest responded by calling Gabby a brave girl.
